they are revealed again in a second season, one of the most anticipated in Mexico and Latin America, after the success of the first one managed to fly over the debate of any desktop and television program, without presidential elections in Mexico and even a World Cup. football, in 2018, overshadowed him.
A series that uncovered the darkest and best-kept part of the life of the Mexican singer, a mass musical phenomenon that concentrates the aspirations, fears and desires of millions of Latin Americans in the image of a single man.
This Luis Miguel returns to the living rooms of the houses on April 18.
Netflix had announced its premiere in 2020 a year ago. The pandemic delayed the expectations of viewers who gave an unprecedented success to a series that promised more than it came to offer at the end of the first season.

The singer took advantage of the
boom
in this series three years ago to launch a tour of Mexico, Spain and the United States.
A perfect springboard, many critics came to comment, for an artist on the tightrope — millionaire lawsuits and concert cancellations.
This time, given the health crisis derived from the pandemic, the artist has not announced any event, and it will only be the image of the best Luis Miguel that is projected for his fans, and many other curious.
The series and film platform has not given any clue, for the moment, what topics this second season will deal with.
Although according to the time in which the chapters that follow are framed, it corresponds to the most stellar moment of his career.

(Aguilar, 2010) and who has followed the singer for more than 25 years, explains the key moments of those years: “We are talking about the duet with Frank Sinatra, the record of concerts followed at the National Auditorium of Mexico, the most successful seasons in Las Vegas, Argentina and Spain ”, he says.
Furthermore, this stage collides head-on with the beginning of the decline: “After the death of Hugo López [his manager, who appears in the first season], who was more than a representative, he was his guide, conflicts with other of his collaborators, fights in court ... This is where the instability in his career begins ”, adds Figueroa.
While Luis Miguel grew unstoppable towards international success, some of his most controversial romances were known, such as the one he had with the American singer Mariah Carey and his relationship with the actress Aracely Arámbula, with whom he had two children.
"Although this part I do not know if it will appear, because I understand that the lawyers had not reached an agreement on the rights," says the journalist.
And above all, here the most inaccessible Luis Miguel was born, the myth: "It is the time when nobody could approach him and he separated himself from the press and the public."
The life of Luis Miguel has always been accompanied by the political and economic swing of Mexico.
The singer grew up in the home of any Mexican since the early eighties and has not yet left.

The first season uncovered the villain who became Mexico's public enemy: Luis Rey, his father.
The most hated character, but also the most respected for a unique interpretation of the Spanish actor Óscar Jaenada, said goodbye in the last episode and the most tragic of the season and with him also one of the pillars of the series disappeared.
A role that had managed to seduce viewers to such an extent that in every corner of Mexico they imitated his Cadiz accent and his "pussy, Mickey."

The artist had promised to tell "the only truth" about his private life.

But the last chapter did not reveal the whereabouts of Marcela, to the discontent of millions of viewers who waited until that moment to learn the truth.
In one of the promotional ads for the new season, a solar eclipse is observed and a message: "The brighter the sun, the darker the shadows."
In spring, a few months before the next Mexican elections, in which the Chamber of Deputies is renewed, 15 governors and 2,000 other positions are elected, Luis Miguel and the mysteries about his life will once again mark another national public debate.
