The Movement for the Quality of Government has appealed to Government Spokesman Avichai Mandelblit and Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai to open a criminal investigation on suspicion of violating the purity of the election by Tigbur or any of its employees.

This, after it became known that the registration link for the polls for work by counting votes in the Election Commission was leaked to the "If You Will" movement, which distributed it to its supporters, before the official registration opened.

The demand for an investigation stems from the fear that the employees of the company "Tigbur", which won the manpower tender, were the ones who leaked the link.

The Movement for the Quality of Government justified its request by stating that there is a real fear of committing criminal offenses in the field of the purity of the election proceedings, which requires the opening of a police investigation.

The movement further noted that "this concern should light a red light among all those who are in charge of maintaining the purity of the elections in the democratic process."

The head of the legal department in the Movement for the Quality of Government, Adv. Tomer Naor, said that "the time has come for the Israel Police to understand that offenses in the field of violating the purity of the election process are not 'snobbish' offenses that can be slipped on.

These are very serious offenses that have a far-reaching impact on the electorate and the procedure itself.

We call on the police to act and enforce the law as soon as possible. "

"The disqualification - is against the law"

Yesterday, it was first reported in "Israel Today" that the "If You Will" movement demanded that the director general of the Election Commission, Adv.

The spokesman for "If You Will", Adv. Eran Ben-Ari, informed the Election Commission that if his demand is not answered in the affirmative, the movement will take legal action against the Election Commission.

"Man's disqualification faded due to a leak that occurred as a result of the failure of the manpower company working with the Election Commission is contrary to the Equal Employment Opportunity Act. The determination that whoever registers in the pilot database is blocked from any service in the Election Commission is setting unimportant conditions." Discrimination on the basis of opinion. "

As you may recall, on Tuesday the Election Commission decided to ban the employment in the election campaign of about one hundred people who registered early to serve as ballot writers voting in the double envelopes in the Knesset elections.

Adv. Adas said that Tigbur, a placement and manpower company, won a tender to recruit employees for various positions to carry out the counting of votes in the double envelopes on the evening of Election Day in the Knesset. Registration for the position is computerized and done via the Internet.

The committee first reported that the link had been leaked to the "If You Will" movement, which circulated it among its supporters and called on them to register for the post. The committee later released a clarification that it did not conduct a membership affiliation check.
