Tiger Woods was injured in a "single vehicle rollover" traffic collision and was released via hydraulic rescue grabs, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) said in a statement Tuesday. .
Woods' vehicle rolled over this morning at the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.
LASD says his vehicle was traveling north on Hawthorne Boulevard at Blackhorse Road when it crashed.
Woods was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
The investigation of the accident is ongoing.
