In an
attempt to put the
VIP vaccination
scandal behind
her, and on her second day as head of the Ministry of Health, Carla Vizzotti agreed with the Chief of Staff, Santiago Cafiero, to start
vaccinating teaching staff from the whole country
.
The decision was made at the meeting of the Federal Council of Health (CoFeSa), with officials from all the provinces, which led this afternoon at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health.
Vizzotti confirmed that from the arrival of
a million doses of the
SARS COV-2
vaccine
developed by the
Chinese laboratory of Sinopharm
, progress will be made with the teaching staff.
This vaccine, precisely, was the one that
the new minister
authorized on Sunday emergency
, as soon as she took the oath before Alberto Fernández.
This Tuesday Aerolineas Argentinas flight AR1050 left for
Beijing to bring 904 thousand doses of the vaccine
.
That flight would be back on Thursday at 9:50 p.m.
To this will be added some 96 thousand doses that will arrive on a scheduled flight, which will arrive in the next few days.
In the last hours, Vizzotti took another transcendental definition together with Cafiero: not only the creation of
a commission that will be in charge of monitoring the traceability of vaccination
, but that from this scandal, each official who wants to vaccinate must request authorization from your superior.
On the other hand, each official must give their consent so that the Government, if so arranged, can disseminate that they agreed to the vaccine.
