Gad Ohana is one of 11 brothers and like all his family, he too began his career as an assistant to his father, who was a "modelist and engaged in shoe samples."
Eventually, Gad turned in his own direction and began performing manual carvings, including wood carvings and fancy tables: "I would carve a lot by hand, including wood carvings and carved tables," he recalls.
Eventually, in 1974, he moved to specialize in a specific field: "Today we make special frames, for mirrors, for example, in different shapes and styles. Oval, round frames and more," he says of "Gad Gallery," which he owns, near the Noga complex in Tel Spring.
“Over the years I have worked on profiles and frameworks,” he adds.
"We post on Facebook all the special things we do. People are looking for how to renovate and change, so they come to us and order and if someone has a hard time getting in, I bring the frame up to them. It's part of the service."
Apart from Facebook, Gad also advertises on Instagram and Google, and owns WhatsApp for business and a page on B144: "Since we started advertising on B144, we've had a lot of work. It's very important that we have contact with the customer, and that we stay healthy and keep working."
