Tonight (Wednesday), the police published the full map of the blockades ahead of the curfew that will apply on Purim.

Police will deploy 24 checkpoints across the country during curfew hours, Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.



Ahead of the entry of the night curfew, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a number of ministers, senior members of the health system and other parties will hold a public briefing tonight on the Corona ahead of Purim.

This, as part of efforts to prevent a recurrence of the epidemic.



The briefing, which will be broadcast from Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital, will also be attended by Health Minister Yuli Edelstein, Homeland Security Minister Amir Ohana, Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash, Head of Public Health Sharon Elrai-Price, MD A. Eli Bin and the heads of the health funds.

A night curfew on Purim

  • From 20:30 until 5:00

  • Public transport activity will be reduced by 50%

  • Traffic will be limited to a mile from home

  • You will not be allowed to stay in another person's home

  • Holding parties will be prohibited

The government decided not to exclude cultural events scheduled for the days of the night curfew, after the industry returned to activity under the green label.

Public transportation is also currently being reduced by 50%.

The restriction of traffic to a distance of one thousand meters will take effect again, and parties and moving from house to house will be banned.

All ministers voted in favor of the outline, except Culture Minister Hili Trooper who abstained.
