Six minors were referred after the punitive expedition that led to the death of the teenager, this Monday in Essonne. For many months

Incivility, insults, repeated fights… Since the start of the school year, a climate of violence has reigned within the Pont-de-Bois college in Saint-Chéron (Essonne).

This is what several teachers report in letters sent since last November to the rectorate.

It is near this establishment that Lilibelle, 14, was killed on Monday afternoon with a stab in the abdomen, during a brawl between young rivals from Dourdan and Saint-Chéron.

In the fight, with punches and kicks, several miners from Saint-Chéron were injured.

In the process, six teenagers from Dourdan were taken into police custody.

The 16-year-old stabbing author was referred to the Evry prosecutor's office for murder on a 15-year-old minor, for violence aggravated by three circumstances - in a meeting, with premeditation and on a 15-year-old minor - and participation to a group for the purpose of committing violence.

His pre-trial detention has been requested.

For the other five young people, aged 14 and 15, the qualifications of aggravated violence, participation in a group with a view to committing violence and no assistance to a 15-year-old in danger were retained.

Their placements under judicial supervision, with a ban on appearing in Ile-de-France and coming into contact with the co-perpetrators, the victims and their families, were required.

"A real upsurge in acts of incivility"

This tragedy, Malou Crespo, teacher in this college of 710 students and delegate Force Ouvrière (FO), had feared it for some time.

“Obviously, we don't have the same problems as those encountered at Grigny or Evry-Courcouronnes,” she tempers.

But there is a real upsurge in acts of incivility.

We no longer count the number of visits to the infirmary.

It's simple: nurses, social workers and psychologists are overwhelmed.

These were things we didn't hear before.

Two supervisors went on sick leave for depression a few days before the February school holidays, they couldn't take it anymore.

"

These scenes of violence take place within the establishment, but also outside.

The rival gangs of Dourdan and Saint-Chéron have been insulting each other for several years on social networks.

If war was declared between high school students, they now affect college students.

Adolescents who meet at the Saint-Chéron station, where many students pass, to compete.

Contacted, Jean-Marie Gelé, mayor (DVD) of Saint-Chéron, indicates that he does not wish to "create an additional controversy in the current context".

Recalling that the college is closed for school holidays, he specifies that "the fact that this tragedy occurred nearby should not lead to an amalgamation between violence and college".

A meeting with the rectorate scheduled for March 3

On the website of the town hall, he specifies, however, that “on a more general level, these phenomena of violence affect an increasingly young population and challenge us all: parents, local elected officials, State services, staff of the National Education.

It is becoming urgent to provide answers to these issues by working together.

"

A meeting, already scheduled before the tragedy of Monday, is scheduled for March 3 between the representatives of the teachers of the college and the rectorate.

“We need a calm climate to work in good conditions.

This cannot be done without more resources, assures Malou Crespo.

In the meantime, we apprehend this re-entry.

Especially that on social networks, some speak of revenge.

The rectorate informed that a listening device will be put in place from Monday.
