The directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Rural Damascus, Daraa, Latakia, and Raqqa have organized rationing controls against bakeries, fuel stations and violating commercial activities.
In the countryside of Damascus, members of the Internal Trade Directorate closed two fuel stations in the areas of Ghouta and Qudsaya for violating the tariff, and they also organized an arrest warrant against two stations in Qastal and Minn, for violating the sale at an extra price.
According to a statement of the directorate, Sanaa received a copy of it today. Its members organized 55 seizures over 8 bakeries in “Jaramana, Minin, Ain Hur, Al-Ghazlaniyah, Al-Qazzaz, Al-Qatifah and Qatana” for offenses of disposing of food flour in the amount of 16 bags, selling at an extra price and losing weight and trading in food bread, as well as a certified bread in the Qatana area seized in his possession 217 A bundle of bread in a pickup and other accredited people in Adra Industrial City and Qatana, in violation of trading in local bread and selling at an extra price.
In Daraa, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the governorate organized 20 supply controls against violating bakeries and shops.
The directorate stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that the seizures that were organized yesterday and today included the private Al-Sharif bakery in the city of Dael, in violation of the production of poorly made bread and the fuel station Al-Musaifra, in violation of stopping work without informing the Directorate, despite the presence of the material in the station in addition to the shop of Samana in the city of Daraa, with a violation Expired sweets and certified with the offense of charging an increase in the gas cylinder replacement service fee.
The seizure also included, according to the directorate’s statement, commercial shops for the violation of showing illegal invoices and not announcing prices.
In Lattakia, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the governorate organized 60 controls, including possession of unknown source and expired materials, non-compliance with working hours in the Raouche bakery, producing poorly-made bread in the Qennas bakery, and trading in diesel on the black market.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the Directorate indicated that the seizure also included offenses of selling at an extra price, not having bills, charging an increase in wages for public taxi services, not announcing prices in the areas of "Hanano, Al-Saliba, the Merchants Market, and Anaba", trade in catering bread and selling at an extra price.
The rest of the seizures included violations of not declaring wages for the services of a real estate office, a men's barber shop, non-food samples, and food samples.
In Raqqa, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the governorate, during a supply tour in the city of Maadan, organized 3 seizures in commercial stores for committing violations related to not showing an invoice and not announcing prices.
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection called on its directorates in the governorates to tighten control over the factories and bakeries that produce and use the remaining material of wheat or flour after extracting the starch substance in the starch factories known as “wet gluten and gluten or fattened” that is not suitable for human consumption and to regulate control by viewing without need To draw a sample for analysis.
In another decision, the Ministry directed its directorates to regulate the rationing control by witnessing all violations related to the materials distributed under the electronic card, as well as relating to the filling of all types of fuel with pipoons or any type of other packages with the intention of illegally trading the material.
