The plastic artist “Mohebet Lyon” studied at the hands of her father, who mastered the art of sculpture and chose the Faculty of Fine Arts to continue the path of creativity, so her works were an imprint that distinguishes her in terms of style and dusty colors from life and hope.

About her experience, Leon spoke in an interview with “Cultural Sana” that she grew up in the home of a passion for plastic art from her father and sister, as the art tools accompanied her from childhood to draw them, too, and turn towards their families.

Lyon, who learned the arts of drawing and sculpting with clay, and later specialized in it while studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts, to follow this path by teaching him at the Teacher Preparation Institute in Homs, where she participated in her work in many group exhibitions and was about ancient Homs and the art of Brutrah.

In her works, Lyon dealt with emotional and emotional issues with warm colors that teem with life, especially yellow, because she sees in it a source of upcoming hope, rejecting depression and brokenness, which is embodied in other works in which the manifestations of steadfastness appear through people who stand steadfastly and look with hope for the future.

The artist Lyon prefers the expressionist school because it allows the recipient to deduce what the artist wants from his painting and what is on his mind, unlike other schools that present their subjects clearly or in an overly complex manner that needs interpretation.

In response to a question about the lack of women's presence in her work, Leon believes that the Syrian woman has proven her active and strong presence in various fields and she does not need someone to claim her rights, as she represents beauty in its forms and her presence is more beautiful when she creates.
