Marie Lebec: "The Republic on the move is a space for debate"

VIDEO - For LREM MP Marie Lebec, guest of “Talk Le Figaro” this Wednesday, the majority's differences constitute “the DNA” of her political family.

Would we observe the limits of "

at the same time

"?

Dear Emmanuel Macron, the harmony between the different sensitivities within the government and the majority seems to be having a bad time.

In recent days, the macronists have scrambled over the choice of the ecological mayor of Lyon, Grégory Doucet, to offer meatless menus to schoolchildren, officially to avoid queues in canteens.

Guest of the "Talk Le Figaro" Wednesday, the LREM deputy Marie Lebec wanted to temper.

"We point to these tensions that may appear, or

(divergent)

voices

that may emerge on a particular bill, but this is what has made our DNA since the start of the mandate"

, assured the elected Yvelines, claiming that, despite the disagreements,

"everyone wanted to play the same game"

.

For her part, the macronist, from the right, considers

the choice of the mayor of Lyon to be

"very dogmatic"

.

“We can totally, in the context of the health crisis, have meals with meat.

Some families do not necessarily have the means to pay for meat at evening meals for the children.

For our sectors too, it is important to promote French meat ”

, she recalled.

The vice-president of the group of La République en Marche in the National Assembly, also assures us that this situation of cleavages and disputes is not new in the presidential movement.

“It has always intrinsically existed within LREM because we have people who come from different political backgrounds.

What makes our strength is to succeed in synthesizing these convictions, these opinions.

I think we have done quite a bit since the start of our mandate, ”

she said.

Marie Lebec believes that this phenomenon demonstrates, on the contrary, the good health of her political family.

“The La République en Marche movement is a space for debate.

I believe that it is tolerance to this debate that must be had, rather than not having it at all.

It would not be healthy for a political movement ”

, recalled the deputy, as if to send back to the ropes certain political opponents who are amused by these differences.

"We will manage to find a compromise"

These divisions between macronists are however likely to be exacerbated during the examination of the bill to fight against global warming.

Part of the left wing regrets that the text does not go far enough.

"We will manage to find a compromise,"

certified Marie Lebec.

Before adding:

"I have no doubt that the objective of the majority is to lead our economic model towards an ecological transition."

The MP also wanted to silence the voices within the opposition who accuse Emmanuel Macron of not having respected his commitment by not taking all the measures of the 150 citizens of the Citizens' Convention.

“40% of the proposals resulting from the convention are included in this text.

Others have a regulatory translation.

Others are reflected in the recovery plan.

So there is a respect for the spirit of the Citizens' Convention ”

, assured Marie Lebec, explaining that

“ the dialogue continues to engage with the conventionaires ”

to guarantee

“ the balance ”

of the text.
