The new Corona virus has claimed the lives of about two and a half million people around the world out of a total of more than 112 million and 670 thousand infected people since its appearance in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American World Meter site.

According to the site managed by developers and operators, the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 112676629, and the total deaths reached 2497056, while the total cases of recovering from the virus have reached 88263391 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 514,996 deaths out of 28897718 cases.

As for India, which ranks second after the United States, the death toll from Corona cases rose to 11030176 today, after 13,742 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours, according to the latest data issued by the Ministry of Health.

The death toll rose to 156,567, after 104 other patients died from the virus since yesterday morning.

India started a national vaccination campaign against Corona on the 16th of last January, and nearly 12.2 million people have been vaccinated so far across the country, most of them are health care workers.

In Brazil, which comes third, the death toll has risen to 10260621, while the total deaths so far have reached 248 646 deaths.

And in Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that 8007 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Germany since the start of the pandemic to two million 402 thousand and 818 cases.

The data published by the institute indicated that 422 new deaths were recorded during the past hours, bringing the total number of deaths due to infection with the virus to 68,740 cases.

For its part, the Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 1273 new deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths in the country to 181,809.

The Ministry of Health data indicated that the country recorded 8,634 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to two million and 52,266 cases.

In addition, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 75 deaths and 9,107 new infections with the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry stated in its daily report that the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country reached 28,213, while the total number of infections reached 26,55633.

In China, the National Health Commission said today ... that the Chinese mainland recorded 12 new imported cases of Coronavirus yesterday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 4,961.

The committee added in its daily report that "among the new imported cases, three cases were recorded in Shanghai, two in Sichuan and Shaanxi, and one each in Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Guangdong."

According to the committee, 4,780 imported cases have left hospitals in the Chinese mainland after recovery, while 181 cases are still receiving appropriate medical treatments.
