Seven people were killed in a collision between a truck and a vehicle in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh today.
"The accident occurred when a truck flipped over after one of its tires exploded and collided with a vehicle carrying a number of people on Yamuna highway near Mathura district in the state, killing seven people on the spot," the Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted local police as saying in a statement.
Investigations were opened to reveal the circumstances of the accident.
