Lawrence Paul Anderson, 42, already convicted several times and having previously indicated to be bipolar, admitted killing his uncle and the latter's granddaughter, as well as one of their neighbors, and injuring his aunt, on February 9 in Chickasha near Oklahoma City, police said in a statement last Thursday.

He allegedly first killed his neighbor Andrea Lynn Blankenship, 41, whose heart he cut out before going to his uncle Leon Pye, 67, to cook the organ and serve it to his uncle, aunt and their granddaughter, who was visiting them for the day, according to The Oklahoman newspaper and a local television station.

"He brought back the heart (and) cooked it (...) with potatoes to serve it to his family in order to free the demons"

, we can read in the search warrant application filed by the police to a judge, quoted by the daily.

It was after his family refused to consume the heart that Paul Anderson allegedly stabbed them, killing his uncle and injuring his aunt and the girl, the latter succumbing to her injuries in the ambulance.

Investigators are trying to determine if the suspect was under the influence of drugs during the attack and have not given a motive.

Paul Anderson had been living with his uncle and aunt at the time of the incident, since the Governor of Oklahoma's commutation in June 2020 of his last prison sentence.

It was not the first line to be entered in his criminal record: he had also convicted in 2006 for possession of crack, in 2012 for distribution of crack, then in 2017 to 20 years in prison for possession of drugs and weapons. fire.

During his last trial, he assured the judge that he was taking treatment for bipolar disorder.
