USA: UN Human Rights Council focuses too much on Israel
Blinkan has officially announced Washington's intention to be re-elected to the forum, having already returned to it as an observer.
He called for preventing companies from violating human rights countries, such as Venezuela, and attacked the "disproportionate" occupation of Israel.
Elections will be held in October

The United States will seek re-election to the UN Human Rights Council, State Secretary Anthony Blinkan announced today (Wednesday), following Washington's decision earlier this month to return as a member of the body that former President Donald Trump resigned from. Joe Biden's will work to eradicate "Israel's disproportionate focus."
Blinken announced his intention to be re-elected to the forum in a video call with the council.
Many of the members of the council, such as Russia, China and Venezuela, are not democratic and are accused of many human rights violations.
Blinken said that "countries where the human rights situation is bad should not be members of this council."

The Council, established in 2006, conducts an individual discussion on the Palestinian issue at each of its conventions - the only issue that receives similar treatment.
Democratic and Republican U.S. governments oppose this.
In addition, the Council often adopts condemnations of Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
"As the United States returns to being involved, we urge the Human Rights Council to look at the way it is conducted, and that includes the disproportionate focus on Israel," Blinken said.
"We will continue to point out human rights violations in countries like Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Iran."
He stressed that the United States was calling on Russia to release opposition leader Alexei Navalny and hundreds of supporters arrested during the protests.
He also said Washington would condemn the persecution of the Uyghur Muslim minority in western China, which it defines as genocide.
Blinken also acknowledged human rights issues in the United States itself, saying it would work to combat racism and economic injustice.
