Israel has the highest corona vaccination rate worldwide.
Great Britain and the USA also achieved good rankings.
Germany, on the other hand, is panting like the entire EU.

About two months after the start of the vaccination, however, not everything is going according to plan.
Problems with scheduling appointments, vacant vaccination centers in many places and production downtimes at vaccine manufacturers caused inglorious headlines for the brand "Impf-Debakel" & Co.
Corona vaccination: Vaccination rate in Germany at 4.2 percent
According to the latest management report from the Robert Koch Institute, around 3.5 million people in Germany have been vaccinated for the first time.
This corresponds to a share of the population of around 4.2 percent.
Around 1.8 million people received the second Covid vaccination.
(2.23 percent).
The vaccination rate is highest in Hamburg (4.71) and Thuringia (4.72), and lowest in Hesse (3.77) and Brandenburg (3.59).
In other countries, the vaccination rate is now much higher than in Germany, which is largely due to the fact that vaccination started earlier.
Germany relied on a common strategy for all EU countries.
The procurement of the vaccine has thus been delegated to Brussels.
Overbidding competition for the first registration should be avoided.

The 27 member states of the EU opted for community instead of going it alone - a step that was praised by many observers in line with the European spirit, but which, due to errors by the EU Commission, was unable to exploit its full potential.

Corona vaccination in Israel: vaccinated people receive "green passport"
Overall, Israel is considered a pioneer in corona vaccinations.
Incidentally, if you only look at people aged 16 and over, 70 percent of the population in Israel has been vaccinated against Covid-19 at least once.
You can look forward to easing since Sunday, because the government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently ended the lockdown and introduced a so-called "green passport".
It allows people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 to go back to the gym, hotel or theater.
Such regulations, also known as special rights for vaccinated people, were also discussed in Germany - but only seem to become an issue if more people are immunized.

The vaccination rate is also high in Great Britain.
More than one in four Britons has received at least the first vaccination so far.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson sees vaccinations as the greatest chance for a return to normalcy.
He recently announced that he would have all existing corona measures lifted in the summer.
To do this, Johnson sketched a roadmap for the "one-way street to freedom".
Schools are to be reopened from March 8th and restaurants and museums from April 12th.
As a result, the currently still very strict contact restrictions are to be continuously relaxed.

Corona vaccination in the USA: Biden's promise - 100 million vaccinations in 100 days
In addition, the USA can also have a comparatively high vaccination rate.
New President Joe Biden announced when he was inaugurated that he would have 100 million vaccinations over the next 100 days.
A good five weeks after that promise, 44 million people were vaccinated.
The third largest country in the world is in such a good position that - like in Israel or Great Britain - orders were simply started earlier.
The US has ordered more than a billion doses of vaccine for a population of 330 million.
The Trump administration had announced in the past that it would donate several doses of vaccines to poorer countries.
Joe Biden has not yet commented on this, but seems ready to work out his plan,

Corona vaccination: EU does poorly - Germany in the lower half
And Germany?
In a global comparison, the Federal Republic ranks 41st, which at first glance is unsatisfactory.
In 81 countries that are currently vaccinated, this means a placement in the lower half.
It should be mentioned, however, that other densely populated EU states such as Spain, Italy, France rank behind Germany.
In general, the 27 member states of the EU do poorly in a global comparison.
So it is not surprising that the vaccination rate within the European Union is lower than in the whole of Europe.
