• The night closure and you: all the details

The government yesterday (Tuesday) approved the restrictions on preventing gatherings during Purim.

Regulations include a night curfew to be held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 pm to 5 am.

Similar to the previous closure, the restrictions will include a ban on staying in another person's home, a reduction in occupancy on public transport and a limit of up to a kilometer from the house.

It is important to note that although the regulations have been approved by the government at the moment, they have not received Knesset approval, and therefore no exceptions have been published yet.

As a result, there may be further changes over the next 24 hours and it is advisable to keep up to date.

When is it allowed to walk outside?

It is allowed to walk anywhere until 20:30, then there is a curfew that lasts until 05:00 in the morning, during which it is allowed to reach a distance of one kilometer from the house.

I was vaccinated in the evening, can I go get vaccinated?

Yes.

Vaccination is a medical treatment, and it has been exempted from the restrictions like the other medical treatments.

All the physical and mental medicine and emergency services that have been excluded in the other closures are operating as usual, and are allowed to be reached 24 hours a day.

What about reading a scroll in the evening?

On Thursday the sunset is at 17:39, so it will be possible to read a scroll and finish it before closing.

The rest will be read in open spaces and according to the rules that apply today.

What about reading the scroll in the morning?

The scroll should be read indoors for up to 10 people, and in an open space for up to 20 people.

On Sunday in Jerusalem, the rules of the green sign will apply again.

During curfew hours it is forbidden to be in another person's house.

Yes, quarantine rules apply to everyone and all rules have been set without diagnosis.

I got stuck somewhere far from home near the start of the closure, what to do?

It is permissible to return home even after the closure takes effect.

Is it allowed to hold an urban or large event?
