At about 4 in the morning, a woman in her 40s reported that her mother attacked her father with a knife in the apartment of Guiyao Building in Li Yao Village.
Police officers and ambulancemen arrived at the scene and found that the male victim suffered a head injury and was in a coma. He was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital after first aid. The wife suspected of beheading was also injured. She was arrested on the spot and was driven by another ambulance. Sent to the hospital, she was covered with a black cloth when she arrived.
According to sources, the seriously injured husband died at 5:40 am.
