At about 9 o'clock in the morning today (25th), a 70-year-old worker surnamed Xie was hit by an iron pipe falling from a crane on the residential site of "OMA By The Sea" on the Tai Lam section of Qingshan Highway in Da Lam.
The male worker suffered injuries to his head, shoulders and waist. He was soberly sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. Afterwards, the workers arrived at the hospital to find out the situation.
The police temporarily listed the case as an industrial accident, and there was an accidental injury. The case is still under investigation.
