The Six Nations Committee has been meeting urgently since mid-morning to rule on the postponement of the France-Scotland meeting, counting for the third day of the Six Nations Tournament and initially scheduled for Sunday.
The appearance of a new positive case in the ranks of the XV of France will lead to the postponement of the meeting.
It remains to find a date.
The Committee wanted this to be the earliest available date, March 6 or 7.
A date that does not suit the Scots.
Because they do not have an agreement with the English clubs for a provision of their ten players (including captain Stuart Hogg) playing in the Premiership.
But also because it is not certain that the outbreak which decimates the tricolor ranks will be completely circumscribed within eight days.
According to our information, the Six Nations Committee is now considering postponing this match to the first weekend of ... July (Saturday 3rd), after the end of European and national competitions!
