A university student was stabbed with a knife in the university residence in Lattakia

A university student, who was stabbed with a knife, arrived at Tishreen University Hospital in Lattakia Governorate today, where she provided the necessary aid and is now in stable condition.

Luay Nadaf, director of Tishreen University Hospital, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the student who had the accident on the campus had two superficial stabs in the neck and the other in the hand (tendons), where she was given the necessary aid and her condition is now stable.

Nadaf clarified that the incident is a criminal matter, as the concerned authorities are investigating in order to clear its ambiguity and present the perpetrator to the judiciary to obtain a fair penalty.
