A young man was arrested on suspicion of rape at the Corona Hotel

A 20-year-old man was arrested last night (Wednesday) on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl in the Corona Hotel in Jaffa, where the two were staying after being infected with the virus.
Yiftach police officers collected findings at the scene and accompanied the girl, a resident of Gush Dan, in the required medical procedure.
The young man was taken for questioning at the Jaffa police station.
The police intend to ask the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today to extend the suspect's detention.
Last week, an indictment was filed against a 17-year-old boy from the Negev in the rape case of a 10-year-old girl in the Negev.
The indictment filed against the Southern District Attorney's Office (criminal) attributes to the young man burglary offenses of residence, theft as well as an act of sodomy and an indecent act against a minor under the age of 16 without her free consent.
According to the facts of the indictment, filed through attorney Ira Weiman Cricon, the defendant arrived in the middle of the night along with two others, one of them a 16-year-old minor, to a settlement in the south of the country.
The defendant and the minor broke into one of the houses in the locality while the members of the house were sleeping in their rooms, while the adult partner was left waiting for them in the vehicle.
Defendant and minor searched for valuables in the living room of the home, and after finding keys to a vehicle parked near the home, they left the home and searched for valuables inside the vehicle as well.
After finding nothing, the two returned to the house and continued their search.
The indictment further states that at a certain point, the defendant entered one of the bedrooms where the little girl and her brother were sleeping at the time.
The defendant lay down next to the minor, who was awake at the time, bit and licked her face.
The girl asked the defendant to explain his actions and asked him to leave her, but he nevertheless committed an act of sodomy on her.
After the girl shouted and called her father, the defendant and the other minor fled the house, taking a sum of about 50 shekels and various toys from the house.
The two threw the toys during the escape and fled the scene in a vehicle along with the adult partner.
