Tel Aviv District Court Judge Khaled Kabov sentenced the businessman, Amir Bramley, to ten years in prison and a fine of NIS 400,000, who was convicted of stealing hundreds of millions from his investors.

Bramley has also recently been suspected of extorting threats from the judge at his trial and his son, Advocate Walid Kabov.

In October, Tel Aviv District Court Judge Khaled Kabov convicted Bramley of stealing NIS 300 million from investors as well as fraud, forgery, money laundering and securities offenses.

Bramley, raised money from investors through misrepresentations, and among other things promised high returns without risk.

He then used the funds to invest them in companies he owned and for his own personal needs.

When those companies ran into difficulties, Bramley paid investors with new investors' money.

After his conviction, he was behind suspicion of a new case and it was extortion by the judge in his trial Khaled Kaboub, who is supposed to sentence him, through threats against his son, Adv. Walid Kabov. The new affair is about an attempt to blackmail the judge's son, after a businessman tried to mediate between the two several years ago, but when Adv. Kabov understood what it was about, he left the deal.

Several months after Bramley's ruling, Attorney Kabov received anonymous letters describing a three-year business relationship between him and Bramley and the judge's son allegedly received a threat that the relationship would be exposed and cause harm to his father.

Advocate Kabov filed a complaint with the police, and when a courier arrived with another letter on Bramley's behalf, they already had proof of this and the police who conducted a search of Bramley's cell found additional letters that were intended for Adv. Kabov.

Bramley's defense attorneys denied on his behalf the suspicions against him and said that Bramley claimed that he had a business relationship with Kabov Jr..
