Two forty-year-olds from Roubaix (North) were indicted this week in Lille as part of an investigation for "
criminal association
", suspected of being involved in "the
preparation of a violent action
", indicated the parquet Thursday.

When the suspects were arrested at their homes in the Lille metropolitan area, investigators discovered “
three weapons, 15,000 euros in cash, black outfits, (...) number plates, wave jammers, beacons location, flashing lights but also Police branded outfits
”, details the prosecutor of Lille Carole Etienne in a press release.
The two protagonists “
are already well known to the police for acts of banditry
”.
The investigations, "
carried out for several weeks
" by the investigators of the Brigade for the repression of banditry and the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) of the Lille judicial police, "
made it possible to establish that they were involved in the preparation of a violent action
”, assures Carole Etienne, without specifying the nature of this action.
Monday, at the end of their custody, a judicial investigation was opened and both were "
indicted for criminal conspiracy, with a view to preparing a crime, and placed in pre-trial detention
".
