The night curfew of Purim takes effect tonight (Thursday), and will last until the night between Thursday and Sunday.

Police said 24 checkpoints will be deployed during curfew hours.
They will operate on the interurban arteries leading to the cities, which will create a sequence of barriers between urban and interurban space.

Urban public transport will continue to operate at 75% of the number of seats,

On Saturday night, urban public transportation will operate as a series, with no intercity public transportation activity.
On Sunday, public, urban and intercity transportation is again expected to operate on a regular basis and with 75% occupancy throughout the country.
Israeli train stations all over the country will close to passenger entry at 20:00, and will reopen on Sunday morning.
No decision has yet been made on public transportation to and from Jerusalem on Sunday.
