(CNN Spanish) -

At least four cases of coronavirus vaccination simulations - or called «wind vaccines» - are being investigated in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

They are complaints from people who claim to have reviewed videos of the vaccination of family members and have verified that there was no vaccine inside the syringe or that the injection was simulated without squeezing the syringe.

One of the cases would have occurred on February 12 in the municipality of Niteroi.

According to the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro, the nursing technician who treated a 90-year-old man who appears in a video released to the media clearly "did not press the syringe while not applying the immunizer."

The nursing coordinator of the State Health Foundation, the technical manager of the place, said that the syringe and the vaccine not injected were not found.

The Public Ministry accuses the nursing technician of appropriating them and requests preventive detention against the suspect.

CNN has contacted the State Health Foundation, but they did not take our calls.

In another case, that of the Copacabana neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, the nursing technician was retired from his duties.

On this occasion, the episode happened on January 27 during the allegedly false vaccination of an 85-year-old woman.

The video recorded by relatives showed, according to them, that the syringe was empty at the time of injection.

According to Agencia Brasil, the nursing technician accused the resident doctor for the situation, assuring that she had not prepared the injection herself.

As a result of these accusations, in some vaccination points such as Bangú and Campo Grande in Rio de Janeiro, the recording of the vaccination act was prohibited.

However, later the Municipal Health Secretariat of Rio de Janeiro issued an orientation so that the recordings were not prevented.
