Defense officials in recent weeks have been holding talks with senior US officials on Iran and its emerging policy, clarifying that Israel will not be prepared for regional compromises as part of its nuclear threat strategy negotiations.
The sources emphasized that Israel insists that Iran will not have a nuclear capability, which constitutes an "intolerable existential threat", and the two threats should not be linked.

The message to the United States was conveyed in accordance with an analysis by the Intelligence Division (IMF) and the Mossad on the subject. officials have made it clear that a return to the previous agreement would be a mistake. They believe US officials are well aware of the weaknesses and weaknesses in the agreement, and have sent them a clear message that Iran will understand it will never develop a nuclear capability.

This policy is based on the approach of senior IDF officials, according to which Iran has conducted itself since 2015 - the year the agreement was signed - as a country close to nuclear capability, and has accordingly trained infrastructure and carried out further operations.
