"If we want open school in the presence, we must vaccinate it."
This was stated by the president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano in a meeting with the ministers Mariastella Gelmini and Roberto Speranza and the presidents of the Regions.
According to the new ordinance signed by Emiliano, after the TAR suspended the previous provision, until March 14, all Apulian schools of all levels must adopt 100% integrated digital teaching (Ddi), reserving attendance for the use of workshops, or to maintain an educational relationship that brings about the inclusion of pupils with disabilities and special educational needs.
Emiliano stressed that "if we can slow down the strength of the third wave from the English variant, by increasing the doses and the people vaccinated, we will be able to protect many lives and provide cover for a series of difficult situations on which a decision must also be made, and I think first of all to school ".
Either the presidents of the Regions "only have the burden of reporting particularly dangerous situations; or that it is decided, on the school, to use integrated remote teaching at this stage, because not doing so would be an omission of safety measures at work extremely serious and relevant in the event of an accident at work. And it is undisputed that for school staff being infected corresponds to an accident at work ".
The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, said this to the ministers Gelmini and Speranza during a meeting.
