The works committee in Germering only recently decided that the renovation of the indoor swimming pool would for the time being without the addition of a teaching pool for cost reasons.
Germering - In the current household, the teaching pool does not play a role.
SPD parliamentary group spokesman Daniel Liebetruth did not want to accept this.
He applied for the extension to be included in the medium-term financial plan.
This should document that the pool will be built when it is financially possible.
With his proposal
, Liebetruth triggered a short but heated discussion.
Mayor Andreas Haas first pointed out that there is probably no one on the city council who does not want the pool to be built.
But there are clear resolutions not to stop this in the budget.
The SPD application would mean that an additional 4.5 million euros should be planned for the investments.
That in turn would increase new borrowing.
CSU spokesman Oliver Simon
said: “The teaching pool is important to all of us, but also the parent-child area.
But we are not with make a wish.
We need a budget that can be approved. "
Agnes Dürr (Greens)
also reminded that all of this had to be advised in advance: "We can be happy to be able to renovate the indoor pool at all."
Before
the SPD's
motion was
voted on, Oliver Simon wanted to know from Daniel Liebetruth how he was going to counter-finance the sum.
His answer, given after a brief consideration, is: “I don't know.” The request was only approved by the two SPD representatives, all other city councilors rejected it.
