At the House of Culture in Homs, training began to form a new choir team affiliated with the Governorate's Culture Directorate, which includes talents from 15 years of age and over.
The choir, which was formed by the volunteer youth team of the Directorate of Culture of Homs in cooperation with the Students' Union at Al-Wadi International University, led by the opera singer Julie Moussa. Lovers of collective singing, and its training by experienced musicians, preparing them to participate in various cultural events.
In turn, the opera singer, Julie Moussa, the choir's trainer, indicated that the opportunity is open for everyone who has a sound or good musical ear, pointing out that the choir members will be trained in collective and solo singing, breathing, and high and low pitches.
For his part, Dr. Ramez Bitar, Director of Public Relations at Al-Wadi University, said that about 15 students from the university joined the choir of the Culture Directorate with the aim of fusing young people into society and supporting their cultural and artistic activities, noting that preparations are underway for the cultural and arts festival at the university, which will be held in the month of April. The Directorate of Homs Culture is an essential participation in it.
