Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed that the United States and the European "troika" countries should address the reason that called for Tehran to reduce its nuclear obligations, not asking it to stop its compensatory measures based on Article 36 of the nuclear agreement.
Zarif indicated in his tweet on Twitter today, carried by IRNA, that America and the European Troika (Britain, Germany and France) are the reason for the Islamic Republic of Iran reducing its obligations in the nuclear deal.
Zarif explained that America recognized that after its exit from the nuclear agreement, Iran reduced its obligations in the agreement, while Iran was committed to the restrictions until then, adding that the European troika is also falling short because it has not practiced any trade with Iran for 3 years.
Yesterday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed that the policy of maximum pressure exercised by the previous US administration had failed, and therefore the new administration must stop economic terrorism against Iran.
