Summary.
His testimony had the effect of a bomb.
January 30, 2020, Sarah Abitbol, figure of French figure skating, publishes "Un si long silence" (Ed. Plon), and reveals to have been raped several times by her former trainer when she was aged 15 to 17 years.
After years of traumatic amnesia and silence, his testimony caused a media tidal wave and freed the word in the world of sport.
Today, Sarah Abitbol is slowly rebuilding herself from her home in Miami, Florida.
The former figure skating champion is gradually fighting her nightmares and her claustrophobia, thanks to this book which she considers as her "most beautiful victory".
For Code Source, Sarah Abitbol agreed to tell her story at the microphone of Clawdia Prolongeau.
