The Los Angeles Police Department is examining a terrifying surveillance video that shows two individuals attacking Lady Gaga's dog walker, shooting at her, and then fleeing the scene with the singer's two French bulldogs.
That video is part of the evidence detectives are scrutinizing, according to Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez.
The footage, recorded by a home surveillance camera, shows the dog walker on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood Wednesday night as a light-colored sedan slows down and pulls up alongside him.
At least two people can be seen exiting the vehicle and approaching the dog walker.
In the video, the victim is heard yelling "no, no" while fighting with his attackers.

One man is seen holding the victim, while the other appears to be pointing a gun.
When a shot sounds, the victim is seen falling backwards as the men run back to the car.

"My God, oh my God, help me," the dog walker is heard shouting just before the car drives away.
He is heard saying that he was shot in the heart and lungs and that the two dogs were robbed as neighbors rush to help him.
“We hear bloodcurdling screams.
And then, in about a minute, a gunshot rang out, "Rachel Mason, a resident of the area, told CNN.
"We just ducked for cover, ran in and called 911."

Mason said it was a shocking scene and that a neighbor helped save the victim's life.
"We went back outside and the guy was literally bleeding when the police and paramedics came, and our neighbor was pressing on his chest," Mason said.
"He didn't know if he was alive or dead and they put him on the stretcher and put him in the ambulance."

Mason added that he had no idea the victim was Lady Gaga's dog walker and that her dogs had been stolen.
At this time, the victim is in critical condition and the dogs are still missing, according to López.
The dog walker has not been publicly identified.
Police described the attackers as men between 20 and 25 years old.
The singer offers a $ 500,000 reward for the return of her dogs named Koji and Gustav.
