A year after the murder of a 17-year-old in the Landes, which led to the indictment of a 16-year-old teenager and his girlfriend, a third young person has just been indicted, announced on Friday the parquet floor of Mont-de-Marsan.

The body of Victor, a high school student from Dax, was found buried in early February 2020 in a field in Yzosse (Landes).
On the same day, two 16-year-olds, a boy and his girlfriend, were arrested by the gendarmes.
He was indicted for "
murder
" and imprisoned, she for "
complicity
" and placed under judicial control.
According to the prosecution at the time, the couple had agreed to meet the victim in an isolated place, making him believe that only the young girl would go there.
But they had agreed that only the boy would go, to give the other "
a good beating
."
The main suspect admitted to having "
tightened the neck
Of the victim before hitting him on the head several times, during an argument that had escalated.
Friday, the prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan revealed that a "
young man aged 16 at the time of the facts, who had already heard as a witness
" in the investigation, was indicted last Thursday for association criminals and complicity in murder, and placed under judicial control.
This suspect was not present on the spot, but he is accused of having provided “
remote assistance
” to the crime or its concealment, said Olivier Janson.
This development, specified the prosecutor, follows the exploitation of cell phones of the suspects, in particular of the decryption by the investigators, of exchanges before and "
just after
" the crime, on messaging WhatsApp, Messenger.
In addition, in view of "
new elements
", the judge of freedoms and detention decided last week to place the young girl in pre-trial detention, added Olivier Janson.
However, she remains indicted for complicity, and she is not accused of being a "
direct author
".
She appealed against the detention.
