An excavation work carried out on the island of Lesbos in Greece revealed the existence of a tree - almost 29 meters high - that is intact after being petrified by a volcanic eruption that occurred 20 million years ago.
One of the scientists told CNN they had never found anything similar in the 25 years they have been excavating in that area, famous for its vivid and colorful fossilized tree trunks.
