Theft of off-duty police in Fo Tan.

At about 8 pm on Friday (26th), a man made a report at a basketball court on Shanwei Street, saying that the wallet he had left in the court was missing, containing a police warrant card and about 300 yuan in cash.

Police officers arrived and confirmed that the man was an off-duty police officer. After preliminary investigations, the case was classified as "theft" and was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Shatin Police District for follow-up. No one was arrested temporarily.

The police urge the public to call 999 immediately if they find the police warrant card or hand in the warrant card to the nearest police station.
