Hasaka-Sana
With the continuation of the practices of the "Qasd militia" supported by the occupation forces and their seizure of mills, public bakeries and private bakeries in Al-Hasakah governorate, in addition to the theft of their contents from the production requirements of a loaf of bread, the people live in different areas of the governorate in a state of deliberate deprivation of bread material imposed by these militias beyond Stifling crisis.
A member of the governorate's executive office, Sattam Howeidi, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that “the return of stability in the production of bread and its provision to all citizens in Hasaka Governorate is linked to the return of mills, bakeries and bakeries seized by the militia to government agencies and their non-interference in the manufacture of bread loaf or the theft of production supplies.”
Howeidi pointed out that "the governmental public bakeries that are still operating under the supervision of the bakery branch continue to provide bread for the people within the scope of their work."
In light of the continuing practices of the "Qasd militia" and its restriction on citizens and preventing them from delivering services, citizens' complaints increase about the lack of bread material and the occurrence of a suffocating crisis as a result of the militia reducing the quantities produced in the public bakeries that it seized, producing a bundle of bread with half the previous weight and reducing the number of loaves in addition to stopping Working in most private furnaces.
