What's next at the Trachtenverein Schloßbergler in Schongau?

The first video conference of the Schongau Trachtler committee was about this question - and of course about their current major project: the construction site on and in the Trachtenheim on Heligoland.

Schongau - For a year now, the Schloßbergers' club life has also been idle.

No gatherings, no events.

And, at least for now, there is no prospect of changing the situation.

So no planning, no new appointment calendar, which is usually at this time of the year and is always full.

"We'll wait and see what happens, and as soon as it is at all possible, we will spontaneously organize a party," was the unanimous conclusion of the committee at its online video conference.

The top priority is the annual general meeting in autumn, which would have been held with new elections last year, but could not take place (we reported).

“Other clubs that are in a similar situation are already considering postal votes.

But we should wait and see what is possible again by then and only then make a legally secure decision, ”suggested Schloßbergler board member Markus Wölfle, and his committee unanimously followed him.

A lot has happened in the outdoor area of the Trachtenheim of the Schloßbergler on the Helgoland: The terrace has been completely renewed since September with an additional cellar room below.

Even if club life cannot take place as it is used to, a lot has happened at most of the Schloßbergers' events in recent months: In the traditional costume home on Helgoland, a new terrace with a spacious staircase has been created, including an additional one Basement room and the stairwell has been redesigned.

With the help of numerous photos, Wölfle showed the committee members online the progress of construction since September.

"This is amazing, what we have achieved with many voluntary helpers since then," the Schloßbergler board then thanked his colleagues, because most of it actually happened on their own - of course always Corona-compliant, sometimes with more, sometimes with fewer workers Construction site - depending on what was currently allowed.

What is still missing now is the interior construction of the new basement room, the railing, paving and asphalt for the new terrace staircase and of course one or two beautification work.

"But we can do that gradually," Wölfle is convinced.

So that everything shines in new splendor at a possible party in or on the traditional costume home.
