The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that the total number of deaths due to the emerging corona virus in the country has exceeded 250,000.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that Brazil recorded 1541 new deaths due to "Covid 19" during the past 24 hours, which brings the number of deaths to 251498 people.
According to the ministry's data, the new Corona virus infections in Brazil approached 10.4 million infected people.
It is noteworthy that Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
