At about 1 am today (28th), a water pipe burst occurred in a section of the traffic lane on Pui Ching Road near Fo Guang Street in Ho Man Tin.
An underground water pipe burst, water gushing from many slits on the ground, cracks appeared in many places on the ground, and there was slight water accumulation in the road section.
Police officers arrived at the scene and sealed off the six traffic lanes in the direction of Pei Ching Road. Sheung Shing Street also failed to turn out of Pei Ching Road. Traffic on the scene was blocked. Workers from the Water Supplies Department arrived at the scene to turn off the water switch and carried out emergency repairs.
A fresh water pipe burst on Pui Ching Road in Ho Man Tin and traffic on the scene was blocked.
