The Aleppo Governorate Police Command confirmed that there is no truth to what was reported by social media about the theft of the guts of a girl between seven and ten years old who was found dead in an abandoned building in the Al-Firdous neighborhood.
A source in the police command stated, in a statement to SANA's correspondent, that the girl’s body was found in an abandoned and vandalized building. Several days have passed since her death, and she was handed over to the forensic medicine office in Aleppo.
In turn, Dr. Hashem Shalash, head of forensic medicine, explained in a similar statement that after the initial examination it was found that a period of time ranging between five and seven days had passed since the death of the child, and that she had been subjected to biting animals and stray dogs, and a tripartite committee was formed to take a sample from the corpse and analyze the DNA to find out Her family and the investigation continues to determine the cause of death.
