The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that it had registered 65,169 new cases of Coronavirus in the country during the last 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that 1,337 deaths had been recorded during the past 24 hours, noting that the total number of Coronavirus infections in Brazil reached 10 million and 455 thousand and 630 cases.
The ministry added that the total number of deaths has reached 252,835 people since the start of the epidemic.
It is noteworthy that Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
