Arab society has sharply criticized the police.

In the evening, an emergency meeting was convened in Umm al-Fahm, with the participation of council members, the People's Committee and representatives of the High Monitoring Committee of the Arab Public in Israel, during which it was decided to hold another demonstration next Friday.

"Establish a commission of inquiry immediately," the participants in the meeting demanded.

They condemned the "brutal and violent police attack on non-violent protesters, and the elected officials and members of the Umm al-Fahm municipality and leaders," and called for the expansion of protests to all Arab localities, emphasizing that the demonstrations were only meant to call on the police to take part in the violence.

"In the end they are the ones who commit violence and crime against the young people," they said.
