In its plan for this year, the Governorate of Aleppo has set out to implement a package of service and vital projects to achieve development in various areas at the city level and administrative units in rural areas.

Assi Al-Sheikh added: The work is continuing to implement the projects that were started to be implemented last year and approved by the government at its meeting in Aleppo governorate during last February, with a value of five billion pounds and delayed completion due to the Corona crisis, indicating that asphalting and lighting works have been implemented in the liberated neighborhoods, international roads, and the removal of threatened buildings. For public safety and rubble removal, in addition to implementing projects in 14 liberated administrative units worth two billion and 500 million pounds for sanitation and roads, as well as granting the Technical Services Directorate an amount of two billion and 500 million Syrian pounds to implement roads between the liberated northern and southern countryside in Tal Rifaat and Tal Daman.

He pointed out that this year's plan is ready for implementation and awaiting approval and funding after the middle of next March, as there are studies ready to implement 150 service projects within the city of Aleppo only according to the funding received and include asphalting works for streets and roads and lighting in the Sakhour road complex, Al-Mohaq Al-Gharbi, Al-Zahraa Association, and Aleppo-Damascus International Road. And the southern loop.

According to Assi Al-Sheikh, the plan includes rehabilitation of parks, green spaces and popular parks, including Al-Basil Forest, west of Aleppo, on an area of ​​five hectares, with attention to artisanal and industrial areas, and working on the delivery of road, electricity, water and communication services to them, as an amount of one and a half billion pounds was allocated last year for the Jibreen Industrial Zone, which is dedicated to the maintenance trade Cars and the Ramouseh area designated for car offices, to which car offices will be relocated at the beginning of the summer this year, as well as re-servicing the artisanal and industrial Beaufort area.

He explained that the road implementation plan for this year includes the completion and rehabilitation of the road and central contracts, including the road to Aleppo Al-Raqqa, starting from Node Safar on the Aleppo-Damascus road, passing through the Ramousa area and the Sadkob, Asan and Al-Nayrab bridges towards the airport and rehabilitating the Shqif and Gondola bridges.

Regarding the countryside, the service projects scheduled for last year are being completed, as 40 projects have been completed out of 61 projects, which include asphalting and sanitation works, especially in the countryside liberated from terrorism. The focus is on implementing development projects to enhance the resources of administrative units, including the implementation of the restoration of Jazraia bakery in the southern countryside.

Assi Al-Sheikh added: The building of the real estate interests in the Seven Bahrat area is being rehabilitated and will be put into service this year, as the completion rate in it has reached 65 percent, as well as work to transfer the vastness of the General Company for Internal Transport from Al-Jamiliyah neighborhood to the Ain Al-Tal area north of Aleppo, and the completion rate has reached 50 percent. Coordination is made with the institutions and companies of water, sanitation, communications, education, health and electricity to implement service projects in the countryside and the city according to the geographical and population distribution, as well as interest in the agricultural sector by introducing new areas for agriculture and working to secure production requirements.
