Good news when the battery runs out in Miesbach: There is a new charging station for electric cars at the Oberlandcenter.
It has already started operating.
Miesbach
- Basically it's like Google: “People have to find you first,” says Georg Weindl, managing director of Elektro Mader in Miesbach.
Even if the new charging station for e-cars at the Oberlandcenter is only a few steps away from the old location at the Kreissparkasse, the refueling processes are still limited.
"In some online portals the free Sparkasse station still appears," explains Weindl.
As reported, it recently moved to the bank's underground car park and is therefore only accessible to customers.
But the Kreissparkasse is also involved in the new Mader charging station.
It provides the reason free of charge.
On the other hand, the electricity tap is chargeable for the e-mobilists.
Two vehicles can dock in parallel to the type 2 sockets and each inject eleven kW of electricity into the battery.
If only one car is attached to the column, the output increases to 22 kW and the charging process is faster.
In order to avoid that the drivers continue to stand still with a fully charged battery and thus unnecessarily block the two spaces, a (small) parking fee is due after the refueling.
"We want as many electric cars as possible to be able to use the service."
Company wants to set an example for e-mobility
According to Weindl, Mader is not interested in sales.
"There is not much earned from it." It is much more important to the managing director to upgrade the Oberlandcenter with the charging offer and at the same time set an example for modern technology.
“As an electrical company, we feel obliged to do this.” By the way, imitators in Miesbach are welcome, says Weindl.
“Something like that is good for the image of a modern district town.” Weindl is convinced that the usage figures will soon increase.
“It works according to the pyramid scheme.
The more you use it, the more you become aware of it.
