Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with his Iranian counterpart, Muhammad Javad Zarif, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the regional and international situation.
Alsumaria News quoted the spokesman for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, as saying in a statement today that "Minister Hussein met his Iranian counterpart in the Iranian capital, Tehran, and discussed with him the bilateral relations between the two countries and the regional and international situation and its implications for their common interests."
In addition, Minister Hussein discussed during his meeting with Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security of Iran Ali Shamkhani today the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
This is the second visit of Minister Hussein to Tehran during the month of February. On the 3rd of this month, he met with President Hassan Rouhani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security and a number of other officials.
