The vaccination as the cause of death: The temporal connection gave rise to bad assumptions, which also reached Mercury in Starnberg.

Are the doses administered (partly) responsible for the many deaths in the BRK Castle Garatshausen since the beginning of the year?

Our editorial team has now received replies from the pandemic doctor in the nursing home and the health department.

Garatshausen - the events were definitely bad enough - and in Garatshausen of all places.

You have to put it that way, because the residents of the BRK castle were the first people to be vaccinated in the Starnberg district at the end of December, along with those of the Caritas Maria Eich nursing home in Krailling.

All the more shocking was the news that 18 residents died in the gerontology ward within the next four weeks.

Most of them were around 90 years old and some with severe dementia.

It was a particularly stressful time for the Tutzing family doctor Dr.

Alexandra Schöneberger-Lindl, who works as a pandemic officer not only in her practice, but also in the BRK Castle.

When asked Merkur about a possible connection between the vaccination and the deaths, she replied: "The health department and the BRK administration confirm the following figures: 52 vaccinated patients, 14 of whom died - but with and with Corona and not with the vaccination which certainly came too late to completely prevent the outbreak. ”The vaccine side effects would have“ certainly not led to the death of the patient ”.

“We are still of the opinion that many more patients would have become infected and died without a vaccination,” emphasizes Schöneberger-Lindl.

A statement that matches those of immunology and vaccination experts: They point out that the immune system only built up full protection against Covid-19 one to two weeks after the second vaccination.

Schöneberger-Lindl reported no vaccination damage and did not observe any "beyond the usual level".

How are deaths in nursing homes processed in Corona times?

But how are deaths in nursing homes actually processed in Corona times?

District office spokeswoman Barbara Beck replied to this question: “The doctor who carried out the post-mortem examination issues a death certificate in which he must state the cause of death or the suspicion of it.

The health department receives a copy.

In this certificate, the doctor also ticks the need for an autopsy. ”In the case of the nursing home in Garatshausen,“ the indication for an autopsy was seen once ”.

The district office does not want to provide any information on the autopsy report for reasons of data protection.

Otherwise, it is relatively easy to draw conclusions about the deceased, since it is only about one case, explains Beck.

The Starnberg Mercury also asked the health department the following question: Can it be ruled out that in individual cases physical weaknesses as a result of the vaccinations have led to death?

The answer: "In medicine you can never completely rule out anything, but the health department is not aware of any physical weaknesses caused in this regard." Suspected cases of vaccination damage that are registered nationwide at the Paul Ehrlich Institute have not been reported from Garatshausen.

Doctor Schöneberger-Lindl is also worried almost two months after the outbreak began: In the rotunda, the gerontology area and site of the many infections, three residents are still unvaccinated, one of them has now been infected with Covid-19.

The many deaths in nursing homes are

having

an impact on their image

: some are struggling financially because people are afraid of the virus and shy away from placing their relatives in hospital.

But: For some others, the demand is almost unchanged.
