Venezuela strongly condemned the US aggression on areas in Deir Ezzor near the Syrian-Iraqi border, expressing its solidarity with Syria.
"Venezuela strongly condemns the US military attack on Syrian soil and expresses its strong solidarity with the people and government of this sister country," the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on Twitter.
The statement added ... "Washington's return to an endless war and its withdrawal from diplomacy and international law raises sadness and regret."
Syria condemned in the strongest terms the American aggression against areas in Deir Ezzor near the Syrian-Iraqi border yesterday evening, and affirmed that it constitutes a negative indication of the policies of the new American administration, which are supposed to adhere to international law, not to the law of the jungle.
