Senior Republican representatives in the United States praised former President Donald Trump at the annual Conservative conference, where even a statue of his gold was displayed.

The loyalty demonstration showed that Trump remained a significant force among Republicans, despite the onslaught on Capitol Hill early last month.

He will deliver a speech tomorrow (Sunday), in which he may announce his intention to run in the 2024 election.

Senior Republican lawmakers, including Senators Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley, and House of Representatives Steve Skulls and Matt Gates, were among Trump's loyalists who spoke at the conservative political convention in Orlando, Trump.

"Let me tell you something: Donald Trump is not going anywhere," Cruz said.

For those who doubted this year’s conservative convention would be dedicated to Trump, it was removed with the presentation of the former president’s statue.

Two participants rolled the statue, which depicted Trump in a cartoonish manner with a large head through the entrance lobby.

The bizarre show drew many reviews on the net.

There were those who compared this to the Golden Calf affair from the Bible.

“Idolatry is not conservatism.

"Bring back our Republican Party," tweeted Adam Kinsinger, one of ten Republicans in the House who voted in favor of ousting Trump on inciting his supporters' uprising in Congress. for.

Gates MP, unlike Kinsinger, declared himself part of the "pro-Trump, America first" wing of the conservative movement.

"We are not really a wing, but the whole movement," he declared.

He even predicted a future role for the former president, who is facing several legal proceedings as a citizen.

"Trump may not have dried the whole swamp - yet."

Sen. Rick Scott, one of Florida's representatives and one mentioned as a possible date for the party's presidency, tried to walk a fine line between expressing loyalty to Trump and signaling his aspirations for a higher position.

He said "President Trump has flaws," but he made the party more accessible to working-class slavery in America.

"We will not win in the future if we go back to where the Republican Party was," Scott said.

"If we do that, we will lose the working class that President Trump excited. We will lose the nationwide election and we will ultimately lose our country."

Hawley, another possible candidate for 2024, described himself as part of the party’s future.

"We are not the past, we are the future. We represent the future of this country," the young senator said.

An Trump adviser, who helped him prepare his speech for tomorrow, said he was expected to talk about the party's future and its split.

"The controversy that exists now is between 'Washington elites' and conservative field activists across the country," he said.

Trump will also sharply attack his successor in office, Joe Biden, whose victory he has yet to officially acknowledge.

The White House has made it clear that they intend to ignore Trump's speech.

Some of Trump's supporters at the conference reiterated his lies about election fraud, saying they justify new restrictions on the voting process.

Trump and his supporters unequivocally claim that the postal vote, which expanded in the last election due to the Corona plague, has led to forgeries in favor of Democrats.

Some Trump advisers have said they want him not to run long in the last election, but to offer a way for Republicans to regain control of the House of Representatives and Senate in next year's midterm elections.

On the other hand, a group of prominent Republicans are absent from the convention this year.

They include Trump's deputy, Mike Pence, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell and House of Representatives Liz Cheney, who also supported Trump's ouster.

The CPAC is organized by the Conservative Union of America, whose chairman, Matt Schlap, is close to Trump.

This is a key stage for anyone considering future presidential candidacy, based on the enthusiasm he manages to create among the audience.
