The 42 people kidnapped ten days ago from a boarding school in Niger state, Nigeria, have been released by their captors, the governor said.

The country has seen many kidnappings of this kind, including one again this week: dozens of armed men have indeed invaded the dormitories of a school for young girls in northwestern Nigeria, on the night of Thursday 25 to Friday February 26, and removed 317 students of them.
