Gathering materials for the indictment of Iran: The IDF will expand intelligence gathering on the nuclear

Ganz has ordered an expansion of the scope of the information gathering, and according to security sources the aim is to expose violations of the nuclear agreement away from the eyes of the Atomic Energy Agency inspectors.

Netanyahu divided the activity into a strategic level, which will examine developments between the United States and Iran, and into two professional levels headed by senior members of the defense establishment.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz ordered the IDF to expand the scope of intelligence gathering about Iran's nuclear project in general and the whole, in order to expose violations of the sanctions and operations far from the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

According to IDF estimates, the Iranians do not trot toward a nuclear bomb, But at the same time violations are already being carried out.

A similar request was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mossad chief Yossi Cohen, arguing that the purpose of expanding the gathering would be for intelligence and operational needs against Iran in the future.

Netanyahu divided the work in coordination with Ganz into several levels.

The top tier for strategy adjustment, in line with developments between the United States and Iran, will be between the Prime Minister's Office, the Department of Defense and the State Department.

At this stage, there are quite a few disagreements between Netanyahu and Ganz and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi.

A security source estimated that no decisions on the matter would be made until after the election.

Meanwhile, the head of the Mossad has proposed in recent months to hold an in-depth discussion on Iran between the Mossad and the IDF headquarters, but was rejected by the army for no apparent reason. Now, the defense minister has decided to tighten cooperation between the staffs .
